Artificial Intelligence Threatens Female Professions
A recent analysis shows that jobs with high automation risk are predominantly held by women.
The analysis found that 15 out of 20 jobs considered most vulnerable to technological advancements are female-dominated, with five of them having over 80% female workforce.
In contrast, 17 out of 20 jobs considered most at risk of automation are male-dominated, indicating a significant gender imbalance in job vulnerability.
The administrative and clerical sector is the most exposed to automation, with a 70% female workforce, and a 22% decrease in available jobs in Australia by 2026.
