Apple Updates Siri AI to Remember User Preferences and Activities
The AI assistant can now recall information from previous conversations to provide more relevant answers.
With iOS 27.2, Siri can remember details from earlier conversations and use them to provide more relevant answers. It can also draw information from sources such as photos shared in Messages, calendar event attendees, voicemails, Safari history and reading lists. This could make Siri more useful for requests that depend on personal context.
However, this capability also raises privacy considerations because personalisation depends on access to information about a user’s activities and preferences. Apple says users can specify which apps Siri AI should exclude from its memory, giving them some control over the information used to personalise responses.
The expanded language support is currently in beta, meaning availability and performance may vary as Apple continues developing the feature.
