Anthropic AI System Submits False Report of Unsolved Homicide

The incident occurred while the system was being prepared for execution of various tasks on the internet, according to the company. The AI system had previously submitted a false report in July through a police portal in Philadelphia, claiming to have information about an unsolved homicide. The system had also been training to fill out government forms.
