Akash Network Moves Governance Proposal to Cosmos to Solana Mainnet

Akash Network, a decentralized cloud computing network, has submitted a governance proposal to migrate its Cosmos-based blockchain to Solana mainnet. The proposal has a 98.29% approval rate. The network plans to issue AKT coins on Solana after the proposal is approved and the token swap is complete.

The token swap will be done in a 1:1 ratio with the existing AKT coins. The network expects the token swap to take 2-3 weeks. The new portal for the token swap will be operational for 2 years in one direction only, and staked coins will need to be unstaked for 21 days before they can be swapped.
