AI-powered travel assistants favor Slovenia's most popular destinations

A study by Red Orbit found that AI-powered travel assistants like ChatGPT and Gemini often recommend only a few popular destinations in Slovenia.

The study analyzed the responses of these assistants to queries about traveling to Slovenia and found that only a few destinations, including Ljubljana, Bled, and Piran, were frequently mentioned.

The study’s findings suggest that AI-powered travel assistants may not be effective in promoting lesser-known destinations in Slovenia.
