83.7% of Veterinary Professionals Now Use Artificial Intelligence
Adoption of AI in veterinary medicine has more than doubled in two years, with 83.7% of professionals now using it.
The survey found that 83.7% of veterinary professionals now use AI, up from 39.2% in 2024, and 88.3% of users engage with it daily or weekly. Adoption alone, however, does not guarantee value. Practices that approach AI strategically reported 6 times the business outcomes of the least mature practices.
The average score was 2.67 out of 4, with capability and readiness scoring highest, and governance and oversight scoring lowest. Maturity tracked closely with results, with level 1 practices reporting an average of 0.64 positive outcomes, compared with 4.05 at level 4.
