28 Government Departments Participate in Hong Kong Cybersecurity Drill
The third annual Hong Kong cybersecurity drill simulated real-world network threats to test defenses and response capabilities.
The drill, which ran for three days, involved 28 government departments and 51 defensive teams, including private enterprises for the first time.
The 23 attacking teams, known as red teams, included representatives from 15 Hong Kong and mainland China cybersecurity institutions and four Hong Kong polytechnic schools, as well as teams recommended by the Guangdong Provincial Internet Information Office and one team from the Digital Office.
All participating systems and services operated normally during the drill, and a report will be provided to participating government departments, public institutions, and private enterprises for reference and follow-up.
