24MW Data Center 'KIX15' Breaks Ground in Osaka
MC Digital Realty starts construction of 24MW data center in Osaka's KIX Campus.
The 24MW data center, KIX15, is the fifth large-scale data center in the KIX Campus, covering a total floor area of 17,672.49 square meters. The building has a seismic structure with one underground floor and three above-ground floors.
The data center will have a hybrid cooling system, combining air cooling and liquid cooling, and will meet global building specifications and operational standards. It will also provide high-security levels and flexibility, making it suitable for hyperscalers, cloud service providers, and AI-related companies.
The KIX15 data center will be connected to MC Digital Realty’s global data center platform, PlatformDIGITAL, and its interconnection solution, ServiceFabric, as well as multiple telecommunications providers, providing high-quality, low-latency connections to major hubs in Osaka and beyond.
