Google Announces Gemini 4 Argon Frontier-Model for Coding, Cyber-Defense
Google introduces Gemini 4 Argon, a frontier-model for real software development, corporate knowledge work, and cyber-defense.
Google has released Gemini 4 Argon, a frontier-model for real software development, corporate knowledge work, and cyber-defense. The model is initially rolled out to trusted cyber-defense experts through Google’s Fairwind Program at an introductory price of $2 per million input-tokens.
Google is actively involved in the US government’s voluntary process for pre-access to models, while access is gradually expanded, and will continue to collect feedback from early testers as they adjust security measures.
Argon is already driving internal work processes, where thousands of employees highlight the model’s strengths in specialized coding tasks, deeper research, and quality formulation.
